MATCH REPORT

Today the U14’s travelled to GHA to play what turned out to be a really competitive game of rugby.

Dalziel U14’s 12 - 39 GHA

We lost 2 try’s with the first 6 minutes. At this point the boys were ask to stay resilient and focus on getting their defensive set up correct, which they did. Score at half time was 22-7. In the second half we had 6 penalties on their 5 metre line and only converted one of these into points. We will need to focus on decision making from penalties in the red zone. However, the positive was that we did create opportunities in GHA’s red zone. As the game went on we had a few injuries which lead to forwards having to play as backs, at this point we lost a little of organisation. Delighted with the performance of the boys today.
